Mixed level Pilates - group session
 

The matwork Pilates classes are suitable for all levels, from beginner to intermediate. In Pilates, we take a whole body fitness approach, working to improve strength, flexibility, posture and alignment, with particular focus on spinal and core strength. Email Hannah to book a block of six or book a single session here

Private session - 
1:1 or 2:1
 

With a 1:1 session the focus is all on you - in a good way! This is a great way to improve your Pilates technique or if you have a specific issue, we can develop an exercise plan tailored to your goals. The private sessions take place in a lovely studio in Leigh-on-Sea. Email Hannah for further information.

Bone Health - group session
 

The strong bones Pilates classes are suitable for people with osteoporosis and focus on the 'strong, steady, straight' physical activity guidance from the Royal Osteoporosis Society. This includes weight bearing activities, strengthening the spine to support posture and improving balance for falls prevention. Email Hannah to buy a block of 6 or book a single session here

Useful information

Prior to starting your first class you will be asked to complete a basic medical questionnaire to ensure that the classes and exercises are right for you. Pilates is suitable for most people and many of the exercises can be adapted to cater for aches and pains or limited mobility. The screening form is to help identify your own personal requirements so you can get the most out of the classes and avoid injury.

Wear something comfortable, leggings or joggers and a t-shirt or vest. We do Pilates in bare feet or socks. I will provide mats and all other equipment but please feel free to bring your own mat if you have one.

All equipment will be wiped down after each class.
